Sevier County History/Genealogy Fair

posted by admin on December 20, 2011 12:53 as General

There is a history/genealogy fair in Sevier County @ The King Family Library this coming weekend. Thursday 12-3 is a walking tour of Sevierville & 3-5 a speaker & book review session. Friday 11-8 is a genealogy fair upstairs on the 3rd floor in their history section. Repeated on Saturday 10-4. We have been invited to set up a display/table on these 2 days to attempt to recruit members for the TN Society Sons of the Revolution and for the John Sevier Chapter (if any persons are interested in having an association with a local Chapter).

David Whaley will be there both days. Are you free on either/both of these days to join him? Let David know via email. He will try to work out a schedule minimizing your week end encroachment.

We will occupy a table adjacent to the Spencer Clack Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The library is @ 408 High St. near the Sevierville Municipal Building which can be accessed from E. Main St. or Dolly Parton Parkway.
